A key highlight was the Project Design Lab, where participants worked in teams to develop practical solutions to the case study, “Greening Agbogbloshie: A Youth-Led Response to E-Waste Pollution in Ghana.”
Building on the knowledge and skills acquired over the two-day workshop, participants brainstormed innovative, youth-led solutions and pitched their ideas with passion and clarity. Their presentations demonstrated not only technical insight but also a deep sense of ownership and urgency in addressing environmental challenges.
The Project Design Lab was a demonstration of the role of collaboration and teamwork in advancing climate solutions. It highlighted the importance of leveraging diverse perspectives, skills, and experiences to co-create sustainable responses to complex issues like e-waste pollution.
Indeed, achieving meaningful climate action requires collective effort and this session reinforced that young people, when united, can drive impactful change from the ground up.
